These Boots Were Made For Walkin'...

 

These boots were made for walkin' with God. Ever since I read that Enoch walked with God, from the book of Genesis, I have been intrigued to do the same; at least I hope I can.

"Enoch lived 65 years and became the father of Methuselah. Then Enoch walked with God three hundred years after he became the father of Methuselah, and he had other sons and daughters. So, all the days of Enoch were 365 years. Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him." Genesis 5:22

Someday I will be not, for God will take me. The Bible is full of pictures and shadows of things to come. I believe Enoch is a picture of the Gentile Church, those who have repented and placed their faith in Christ alone. It's a picture of how Enoch was taken before the great flood of Noah. I believe those who are watching and waiting for Jesus to come for the Church, will be gathered to Him and then the clock starts ticking for the Time of Jacob's Trouble; the Great Tribulation spoken of in Daniel, Ezekiel and the Book of Revelation. All the prophecies of the Bible are amazing and show the sovereignty of our God, and how perfectly His Word is. Every prophecy has come true; 100% true. Some however are still to be fulfilled.
