Bunny

Bunny waits with anticipation that I will stop by and appreciate this glorious day that the Lord has made, but no, I am in a hurry, so I don't take the time to gaze and to stare.  She says, "Look!, Don't you notice these tender flowers? Don't you see the freshness of a new day? The greens, the whites, the reds, all the brilliant colors. God made them! Be in awe of Him!" The animals praise Him with their chirps and purrs. Why don't I? Well I do, but not enough; not as I should. The glory of the Lord is seen in His creation.

How can I not pause and praise the Lord for who He is and to thank Him for such beauty? The flowers, the trees, the blue sky all show His handy work. Thank you Lord!

This gorgeous Bergenia plant reminds me of my dad. He planted a row of them along a small rail fence that he had made. On the other side we had a play area full of soft wood shavings where our swingset was. These perennials were doing something several times a year. In the fall the leaves became vibrant red. In early spring new growth brought bright green leaves. Late spring we would see these delicate pink flowers, and in summer we had larger deep green foliage with no flowers.

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have clearly been seen..." Romans 1:20

"The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands." Psalm 19:1

Every little flower bud is so preciously made by Him.                                                                             God is Good, all the time! Enjoy this day, Kathi!
