Spring Onions
My fridge actually looked this pretty one time. It happened in the spring last May. I so happened to clean out my refrigerator the same day that my husband brought several bundles of spring onions up to the house from the garden.
Every time I opened the door I was delighted. We had fresh onions for breakfast lunch and dinner. They are wonderful in salads, omelettes, or stews. Not only were the onions useful for nutrient meals, but they were charming to admire. If you have a plot of ground I encourage you to plant a row of onions. You will not be sorry.
"We remember the fish we used to eat free in Egypt, the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions and garlic..." Numbers 11:5 The Children of Israel began complaining about the manna rather than to have thankful hearts. I must remember to thank the Lord for His goodness and kindness to me in all things. I have a full pantry and a huge garden. Thank you Lord for these things.
