The Perfect Outfit

 

This is one of my favorite outfits to wear. I get to wear my cowboy boots, I am modestly covered and I feel happy while wearing it. It's strange that I have only one or two outfits that I feel truly comfortable wearing. Someday I will have no concern whatsoever for what I will wear. Someday I will be wearing white linen, according to this promise from God, "...it was given to her to clothe herself in white linen, bright and clean; for fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints." Revelation 19:8

I look forward to this day. I am righteous, not because I do good things; far from it. I am righteous because I confess my sin and repent of it. I place my faith alone in Christ alone and that gives me His righteousness. For this reason, my prayers are powerful and effective. James 5:16 says, "The fervent effectual prayer of the righteous is powerful." 

If you need prayer, ask a Christian to pray for you or with you; best of all, repent of your sin and believe in and cling to Christ for salvation. He will hear you.
